2 Hole Vertical Front Box with Steel Ball Thrusters

This 2 hole flyball box is intended for an individual or team on a budget to produce a good quality 2 hole vertical front box that incorprates the use of an all metal ball thruster.

To keep total build cost as low as possible the ball thrusters have been downgraded from a machined alumunum exo-skeleton to a welded steel frame. These ball thrusters have the same functionality as my aluminum ball thruster they just don't look as refined.

A handy person with some basic wood working tools and a bit of flyball box knowledge should be able to build this box in a weekend.

You are still required to purchase a half sheet of 3/4" plywood and some minor hardware pieces.

Please note: Even though these plans show you how to build a box by step-by-step instructions, basic woodworking and flyball box knowledge is required.

These tools will be needed: table saw, jig saw, drill, hole saw, wrenches, screw drivers, measuring tape, utility knife.

Note: This 2 Hole Plan Box is slightly different in design and features than the pre-built Flyball Boxes that are found on this website. They are similar in concept however this plan box has some subtle differences to help simplify the construction process.
