This very basic 2 hole flyball box is intended for an individual to get started in the sport of flyball. This box is based on the older swing arm method to eject the ball out of the box. This box is simplistic, light weight and can be easily built in a weekend. The low building cost makes for an attractive build for a first timer. Basic woodworking and flyball box knowledge is required but not a necessity.

2 Hole Vertical Front Box with Steel Ball Thrusters

Many of these boxes have been build over the years by people all over the world. This is a good low cost box that can get you started in the sport of flyball.

Basic 2 Hole Box features:

• 24" wide, 17-1/2" high, 29" long.
• 15-1/2" front pedal.
• Wood swing arm ball ejectors.
• Adjustable ball speed.
• Box loader platform.
• Shin padding.
• light weight!

Since my free time is very limited I will not being providing any detailed support for these free plans. This is a free D.I.Y. project, which means do-it-your self.

I'm providing these plans to help promote growth to the sport of flyball. This box is perfect for new teams on a tight budget or someone who wants to practice at home or at the park. You will find that many teams still use boxes like these and do flyball just for fun.

Most of the parts for this box can be obtained and your local hardware stores or contact me for a basic parts kit.

The Basic Parts Kit contains:

• two (2) latches,
• 4 wood swing arm springs,
• 2 pedal return springs,
• 2 - 1/4" inside dia steel bushings (for wood swing arm pivots),
• wood swing arm steel mounting brackets.

These boxes may look similar but they have slightly different geometry and dimension and are not really compatiable with each other.

These tools will be needed: table saw or skill saw, jig saw, drill, hole saw, wrenches, screw drivers, measuring tape, utility knife.
