Flyball Boxes

I have been building and experimenting with different flyball box designs since 1998. In that time I've developed a few sturdy, reliable & safe flyball models that served many clubs and teams practice and competition needs.

Over this period time I've come to the conclusion that the self contained ball thruster mechanisms are the ideal way for making the ball leave the box.

The ball thruster internal mechanisms are made out of aluminum and hardened steel and allow for greater consitancy and lifespan.

Flyball Box Details

• Physical Dimension are 24"W x 17-15/16"H x 30 "L

• Two, 3 & 4 Hole boxes are available.

• Updated box geometry, pedal top wedge.

• Stake down holes mounted at the rear of the box.

• One piece rear platform for the Box Loader to stand on, Shin padding for the Box Loader.

• Ultra sensitive, responsive and fast reacting.

• Quiet.

• Ball holes are completely filled so the dog can't get it's paw caught in the opposite empty hole when triggering the box.

• Adjustable ball distance, 2 - 4 feet.

• Thrusters made from 6061 aluminum & hardened steel.

• Simplified delatch mechanism.

• Extra large box carrying side cutouts.

• Removable Face Plate. This allows you to easily service the internal mechanisms and installing new rubber.

• Highly adjustable box which allows you to "tune" the box the way your team and/or your dog likes it. (Sensitivity, speed, pedal travel)

• Box Shell constructed using high grade Baltic Birch plywood.

• Two hole boxes weigh 45lbs.

• Box painting and mat grabbing devices are available upon request.

• Adheres to NAFA's flyball box specifications.

Ordering

Custom ball hole placement and size is offered at no additional cost.

Custom options (such as extra rubber, longer boxloader platforms...etc..) may be ordered for additional cost.

At this current time I'm not offering any painting or staining for my pre-built boxes. All boxes come unfinshined however they are presanded and ready for finishing.

I do not make 1 hole boxes. They are not conducive to a safe and effective turn.
